The Truly Deep Friendship

How many of you here considered yourself as a real friend?

Friendship is important to all of us. Good friends are like precious one. So, having good friends is like having treasure. Whether young or old, all of us need friends to support us. We cannot live in this world alone without having any friends. Friends are our companions to keep us company during lonely times. Sometimes, friends also share our hobbies and interests.
We often need friends to be there for us during our happy and sad times. They would share our joy and sadness with us. Friends will also be there for us to confide in. We can share our problems with them as friends always lend us a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on when we are down. Good friends are always on our side to comfort and console us. They would always provide us with encouragement. They will also support us in everything we do. When we fall, good friends are always there to help us get back on our feet. Having friends is like a second family. You can tell things to your friends that you wouldn’t tell to your family. You can talk to them about relationship with your boy friend or girl friend, happy or sad emotions that you felt.

I would like to share about my friend (Phiendrauzhe Moezhelle Penales). I meet her when I was 3rd year high school. We are not totally close before because she looks like a famous in our room because she is very intellectual and friendly to everyone. I don’t know why every time she came to me I feel shy to her maybe because she had high standards. I was hoping and praying to God and hoped that one day we will become friends.

God finally answered my prayers. Our friendship started when she and her family migrated in New Zealand. For me it’s too late because I won’t be able to be a friend to her.  However, she reached out to me and started making conversations with me. She is always helpful and supportive towards me. I have always been weak in my family problem but she is always there for me to make me strong by giving me a positive thoughts and advices. I could not have done it without her help. She has been so patient with me. She gave me help and guidance about my problems. She spends time and effort to talk to me. She has done it many times. I am so grateful to her. She has taken a lot of trouble to help me with my family problems. She never fails to lend me a helping hand even when she is busy with her own life. I was really happy because she has been a part of my life.  I will never forget every single moment that I spent with her. She has been with me through thick and thin. She is always there for me whenever I need a helping hand or a listening ear. She has the qualities of a good friend. I really appreciate her although she is not here beside me but she always make me feel that she is always there for me by sending a messages to my Facebook account and posting on my wall and I really appreciate it. She made friendship more meaningful to my life.

We all have friends. Our lives could otherwise be lonely and maybe insignificant without friends because friends make good company. Everyone needs to socialize as we cannot live alone. We always have to appreciate our friends in whatever way we can. However, friendship must not depend on money. Friendship that is based on money is not genuine. Friends should accept one another based on their trust and love for each other and not because of their popularity or wealth. Friends are the second most important thing for us next to family. For some, friends are the most important people to them if they are not close to their family members. To them, their friends are considered their family. So, they would turn to their friends for support and assistance if they have any problems. Friendship is truly a lifeline, for without it, life would be lonely and less meaningful.
